Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ContractorIQ (“the Service”) is a B2B SaaS platform that provides AI-powered estimating, proposal generation, invoicing, client portal, and business management tools for residential contractors. By using ContractorIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. ContractorIQ is intended for business use by contractors and construction professionals.

3. Payment Terms

ContractorIQ offers the following paid plans:

• Pro Plan: $99/month — unlimited estimates, proposals, invoicing, and client portal
• Business Plan: $249/month — everything in Pro plus custom branding, API access, and priority support

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. Refunds are not provided for partial months. We also charge a 1.5% processing fee on payments collected through our invoicing system.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ContractorIQ to:

• Submit false or fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access systems or data without authorization
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)

6. AI-Generated Content

ContractorIQ uses artificial intelligence to generate estimates, proposals, and other content. AI-generated estimates are approximations based on available data and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it with clients.

7. Data Handling

Your business data, client information, and project data are stored securely in our systems. We do not sell your personal or business data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

ContractorIQ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of ContractorIQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
